About the Provider

:The Trike Stop offers exclusive infant care to 9 children each day, ages 6 weeks – 1 year. We have created an atmosphere that is specific to infants offering: full size cribs, separate sleeping rooms, plush carpet and wood flooring, rocking chairs and ottomans, a variety of toys and books, music, and a low 1:3 staff to infant ratio. We wanted to make the transition from home to child care as easy as possible for both parents and infants alike. We do so by providing all the diapers and wipes, organic jar foods, organic finger foods and linens. All our parents provide is breast milk or formula, 3 bottles and extra clothing. We also accommodate families who use clothe diapers, glass bottles and mothers whom are breast feeding. We understand that our parents are so busy already and want to eliminate any extra stress that we can all while providing exceptional care to your new baby. The Trike Stop toddler program is divided into two classrooms, the one year olds and two year olds. Both classrooms are provided three meals a day, outside activities, sensory activities, art activities and circle time. Circle times include; musical instruments, dancing, flannel board stories, singing songs and reading books. The teachers also provide several activities each day that help promote cognitive, small motor and large motor development. The two year olds participate in “Music Dave” time with the preschool twice a month. Music Dave comes to our center and plays guitar for the children to sing and dance to. He also provides exotic instruments and teaches the children about where the instrument came from and the culture surrounding it.
