Holy Rosary Catholic School is a primary ministry of Holy Rosary Parish. The mission of Holy Rosary School is to educate children to be Catholic Christians and stewards of their talents as effective communicators, responsible citizens, and life-long learners. We are accountable to the standards of Washington State and the Archdiocese of Seattle, our school wide learning expectations and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Holy Rosary Parish School committed to the development of the whole child. Our statement reflects parents as the primary educators and teachers as facilitators of learning and recognizes the dignity of all members of the school community, guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ. We continue the long tradition of Catholic education to prepare future Christian leaders to live their faith daily in the home, in the parish and in the community. Holy Rosary School prepares each student to be socially responsible for self, others, and the environment. We believe that Christ is in us, among us, giving dignity to all. Holy Rosary School challenges every child to achieve academic excellence through a variety of learning experiences. We emphasize comprehensive instruction and focus on the needs of the whole person. We ask that students strive to be active Catholic Christians who see, live and celebrate as a Catholic. We ask that students endeavor to be effective communicators in the written and spoken word, pursue critical thinking skills as responsible citizens, and develop intellectual curiosity as life-long learners.
