The teacher assistant does not meet the education requirements and/or documentation was not available for review of the progress toward the required standard. After review of both teacher's files it was noted that the teacher assistant had completed two (2) hours of on-going training hours. This classroom is a NC-PRE-K classroom and all assistants are required to complete fifteen hours of on-going training hours annually.

Shelter-in-place or lockdown drills were not practiced every three months and/or drill record was incomplete. Based on the Emergency Drill record posted on the information board the last emergency drill was conducted on October 12, 2023.

After review of both teacher's files it was noted that Health and Safety training topics had not been completed since 2017 which extends the renewal period of at least every five years.
