Description: Tender Years has provided quality child care and preschool since 1999 for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Tender Years is a full-time child care center which offers a fun and positive learning experience that contributes to the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of the children in a safe and caring environment. Our curriculum includes a variety of activities that increases a child's conceptual understanding in math, language, reading, science, art, music, and drama. Tender Years integrates technology in the learning environment by use of computers in the classroom. All computers include age appropriate programs designed to enhance reading, math, language, and problem solving skills and for the safety of the children do not connect to the internet. In addition to our curriculum, our establishment contains two brand new outside playgrounds and an inside gym for children to achieve success in gross motor development. For school age students we provide before and after school care and transportation to local area schools. During summer months, we offer our school age students the opportunity to attend a daily summer camp, where they participate in educational fieldtrips, game days, and craft days. Along with the intellectual and physical development, Tender Years provides nutritious meals and snacks for healthy growth.
