This place is scary. I can't even believe that it is allowed to operate. Baby crying and totally ignored, allowed to suck on a sponge covered with a plastic bag that was handed to them by one of the other children. Small child was playing with the stove in the kitchen. This place is very dirty. Care provider snapped at a child at was walking with us. Sad, sad place. I felt sorry for the children that were there.
I love this place - they are loving and do great things with my kids all day long! I highly recommend this place!
My husband and I are both teachers, and enrolled our daughter at Childtime when she was 18 months old. The previous year, she had been in a nurturing private home which we adored, but we needed to find someplace closer to home with more convenient hours. Immediately upon entering Childtime, we were comforted by the welcoming environment and warm staff. We appreciate the daily feedback we receive about our daughter's schedule. We especially enjoy that she is given a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities including storytelling, singing, playing house, and multi-sensory fun. We LOVE that she has messy fun with paints, dough, and other materials at Childtime, because then we don't have to clean it up! :) The teachers interact beautifully with the children ALL day. I have arrived near closing time to find the teacher and the children engaged in a felt board story. You'll find the energetic director working in a classroom right alongside the teachers, not worried about getting her hands dirty. I could easily write much more about our positive experience at Childtime; but in the end, all that matters is that our daughter loves coming here. What more could you want for your child?
By far, the WORST daycare I have ever seen. My child was there for only 3 days. They abandoned my child waiting at the school bus stop for pick up for 20 minutes. They never called me to mention that they had not picked up my child. The school called me after being unable to reach anyone. The daycare director and assistant director then proceeded to blame me and the school for their neglect and endangerment of my child when I withdrew my child from their facility. A complaint and investigation was made with the state. I am disappointed they have been allowed to remain open. Please do not take your child here. There are too many other safe options to risk any harm to your child.
I worked there for 4 months so i know first hand how it is and i would NEVER take my child here or to page's preschool in roy both owned by the same person. The owner never has enough staff for the amount of kids and she does not train her staff. She expects you to already know what your suppsed to do. And all she ever does is yell at the children if they are not listening. Including the babies. And they are ants and spiders in tuethe building, she knows about them and does nothing about it. She also yells and calls names to her staff if you do something incorrectly.
