About the Provider
SUDBURY EXTENDED DAY offers nurturing before-school and after-school programs that present children with diverse opportunities for enrichment, exploration, and the development of social skills. S.E.D. programs provide a variety of learning experiences for your child to enhance his or her social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. S.E.D. programs are designed to allow children to choose from such activities as arts and crafts, nature studies, reading, building, science, explorations of history, games, sports and story telling, and take place both indoors and outdoors. All activities occur in innovative, supportive, supervised environments. S.E.D. offers programs for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Programs occur at all Sudbury schools and at S.E.D.'s central office at 327 Concord Road (First Parish). Field trips are offered on some Early Release school days and special programs are available for some school holidays and school vacations. S.E.D. does not offer a summer program. S.E.D. works with an experienced staff and operates under license from and supervision by the Department of Early Education and Care of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
