Description: In September 2000, the Division of Child Development issued star rated licenses to all eligible child care centers. Facilities can receive one to five stars.
Accordingly, State Line Children's World began implementing new structure standards and curriculums. Encouraged staff to go back to college and obtain a higher level of education in early childhood. Because of our rigorous preparation in 2006 State Line Children's World chose to voluntarily apply for the advanced licensure through DCD.
In December 2006, State Line Children's World obtained five stars, which is the highest rated license issued by DCD.
This process included a consultative visit from the Division of Child Development who evaluates State Line Children's World with three quality components: Staff Education, Program Standards and Compliance History. Our license and high reflecting our award-winning service are displayed in each of our classrooms. The star rated license acts as a roadmap for our center to follow as we seek to provide continued quality enrichment and individual care for each of our students.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

We thought everything was wonderful here for nearly a year, until the owner's husband revealed himself. He charged across the parking lot at me like a raging bull shouting aggressively about how I parked in their empty parking lot. (in a pull-through position so there would be no need to back up where small children might be present) He got right in my face to tell me he thought I had a problem! No attempt to calm him into a reasonable tone had any effect and only seemed to spur him to shout even louder over me. Needless to say I was shocked! I had never even spoken to this man before who I thought was a hired groundskeeper. Not wanting to escalate this confrontation, I hopped in my car and left. But I had to turn around and get my child out of there. After picking up my child I went to my car where he again charged so I secured my toddler and shut the door. The shouting started again! Where was this coming from? Clearly something was brewing in this man and he sought to take out his rage on me even shouting that I get off his property 'before something happens.' And that is a very threatening remark, one that absolutely determined we would not be back despite having paid the month in advance. I just couldn't leave my child where there was a grown man in a rage running loose.
The staff was always fine, but anyone thinking about doing business here should think long and hard about leaving their child in a place where the owner's husband is on such a short fuse.
