The first aid kit in question was located in a closet which is covered by a set of double sliding doors. the door to said closet was blocked by a large "crash pad" that is approximately 25 pounds and would have had to of been moved out of the way then the closet operated and opened by a child to access the first aid kit. This first aid kid has always been in this closet, on this shelf. However, the first aid kit has now been relocated to the top shelf of said closet as an extra measure of safety and inaccessibility and a sign was added indicating where the first aid kid should be stored.

Director did not note the regulatory discrepancy occurring and the licensing representative did not address until we were reviewing the areas of non-compliance so once the licensing representative departed director immediately went downstairs and discussed with the staff person in question. We discussed ways to do this differently or correctly if this were to occur again.
