Penn Cambria Before & After School Program

The Penn Cambria Before/After School and Summer Program is operated by the Cambria County Child Development Corporation which has been serving the children and families of Cambria County for over 40 years. Our quality programs are the result of years of experience caring for children.

The Penn Cambria Before/After School and Summer Program provides care Monday through Friday during the school year from 5:45AM until school begins and when school ends until 6:15PM and will be open for snow delays and early dismissals. During the summer, the program is open Monday through Friday for a full day from 5:45AM until 6:15PM. The facility is located at the Penn Cambria Pre-primary building in Cresson and serves children from pre-school through age 12. The Director holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and all staff members are required to take at least 18 hours of continuing education per year.

This program has earned the highly prestigious STAR 3 designation from The Pennsylvania Keystone STARS Quality Rating Program.

The staff of Penn Cambria Before/After School and Summer Program provides children with both educational and physical activities working very hard to keep the children involved and excited with a child focused curriculum. The staff incorporates many hands on projects, fun activities (many of which include the child’s family) while keeping them physically engaged with the SPARK program.

Penn Cambria Before/After School and Summer Program provides children with a nutritious snack during the school year and a breakfast and a snack during the summer through the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
