About the Provider
The School strives to nurture in its students, an awareness and love of God and a sense of moral responsibility. We believe that the spiritual growth of our students gives meaning to their intellectual and physical pursuits. We hold that it is only in the context of valuing their relationship with God, discovering their individual gifts and talents, and accepting their responsibilities toward self and community, that they can pursue an education that prepares them to lead fulfilling lives.
STM Catholic encourages each of its students to actively seek knowledge and understanding in pursuit of the truth. The objective of the School's rigorous academic program is to develop in each student the skills of examination and expression; to provide a solid foundation in the fundamental fields of human knowledge; to cultivate an ability to think critically, creatively, and independently; and to inspire intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning.
Also integral to the STM Catholic experience, our physical education and athletic programs serve to instill certain qualities of character; to develop strength of body and alertness of mind; and to illuminate the value of life-long fitness and health. Emphasizing self-discipline, teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and striving toward a goal, the physical dimension of an STM Catholic education provides important lessons for life's challenges.
