***I dropped my daughter in the kindergarten last year. It was a nightmare. I am so hard to believe the teachers did not know two kids were crying out play grand loudly. One was my daughter. Her teeth fell out when she was ONLY 3 years old. My daughter told me NO any teacher concern her bleeding when I picked her the day evening. There was no any report regarding the issue. I received the answer was “WE DO NOT KNOW.” The director of kindergarten only paid the dental invoice and told me it is a risk when you send any kindergarten. I was a new mother and did not know another kindergarten’s policy. I trusted the director and keeping left my daughter in the inferno. The issue did not stop. I did always see my daughter’s bruise on the body and received the teacher’s phone calls regarding the bleeding stories. We paid a lot of invoices of pediatric surgeon. The kindergarten of director told me they do not have any responsibility to cover the risk. I asked her to check the video what happened. They do not have any monitor out play grand until we left in 2017. There was a teacher told me it should be Fine when kids broke their hand in the kindergarten. I was so FRIGHTENED. They were inflexible and unwilling to refund the money when you apply your VACATION Time.
I changed kindergarten to another one which is very good. The teachers who are in new kindergarten take care kids very carefully. I still have a lot of my daughter’s injured pictures. I am so glad to leave the inferno.
ADVISE: Parents, YOU should to try the litter rocks make people easy to fall even adult when they put on the play grand of kindergarten. For safety purpose, I asked the director to change it. She told me they will not change due profit. IF YOUR INSURANCE is GOOD ENOUGH, IF YOUR KIDS WOULD LIKE TO TRY THE INFEONO, JUST GOHEAD.
My son is in the young toddler room (1-2years) and seems to be enjoying it very much. Callan Rose does have competitive rates (my son only goes 3 days/week) and is the most affordable center in our area which is why we decided to go with them. So far I have no complaints about the child care being given to my child.
However, I believe that their tuition policy is quite unfair. My son was very sick one week and was unable to attend and then we are planning on taking a vacation later in summer for a week. I spoke with the owner and she said we still have to pay for 75% of the tuition for the week he was out sick!!! I was extremely frustrated as I felt I should not pay for child care services that I did not get and not be penalized for not bringing my son to avoid other children getting sick!! She said she was sorry but that was their policy. Then I informed her of our vacation plans and we do get one week of vacation credit that we do not have to pay, however, we would have to add an extra day the prior week since mine and my husbands work schedule will be different. I asked the owner if adding a day for that one week would be fine and she said yes, but there is an $80 charge. Again, I was frustrated and asked if we gave her 2+ weeks notice if we could just pay the 4 day rate which was only $40 more than what we usually pay. She said no because it was the policy to pay $80. We also only get on week of reduced rate and one week of vacation credit every calender year. I have already used them both up by my son being sick and our planned vacation this summer. So if my son gets sick again, whether I take him or not, I have to pay full tuition. I find that absolutely ridiculous! I am very frustrated with the policy and feel the owner only cares about taking my money and not so much keeping my son there. She is the one who makes the policy! We have started looking for a new daycare with a more fair policy.
Stay away: The director and owner care about money and nothing more. They have many founded complaints with the state and for good reason: they don't report incidents and are often far out of ratio. Sometimes they are out of ratio because they director doesn't stay in the room she is supposed to be in. The director controls the owner and they are more interested in money and fighting than making sure the kids are safe. Stay away.
