Description: St. Paul’s Kindergarten and Daycare has served the Orangeburg community as a Christian daycare and learning development center since September of 1974, when the church officially integrated a private service that had existed in the church facilities since 1959 into its ministries. The daycare began as a service to the community with very few children. We are very proud to say that through the years it has grown into one of the largest daycares in Orangeburg with hours of operation from 7 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. We are also very proud of our reputation of excellence in child care and learning. The school has a 2K, 3K, and 4K nursery school and a kindergarten program with an average of 60 children in these programs. The school is licensed for 102 children with the Department of Social Services. Currently there is a total registration of 99 children including the after schoolers with a waiting list for some ages. Services provided by the school include an in-house speech therapist, a physical therapist, after school pickup, an after school program, and a very active summer program. The staff is certified with twenty hours yearly of training and all are certified in CPR and First Aid. We are very proud of the staff and administration and feel that we provide a stable, caring and loving “home away from home” environment for our children and their parents.
