Description: Early Head Start is a year-round comprehensive child development program. It is federally funded to provide services to infants and toddlers. Low income residents who are pregnant or have children ages 0-3 are eligible for the program.
The Social Services and Parent Involvement components are designed to encourage the growth of parents as the primary care givers to their children. Parent trainings are conducted to allow parents to receive the latest information on various topics that each face in training their children. Early Head Start has two program options - the Center based Care for infants and toddlers and Home Based services to pregnant women.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
