VERY POORLY RAN FACILITY! The director, Monica Pratt, sets the tone for the unprofessionalism within this facility. The staff is ALWAYS on their phones and not tending to the children. Most of the time, they are out of ratio. My son has been sick on SEVERAL occasions due to overcrowding in the toddler room. They are placing 1 year old kids in cribs, in a corner, for “misbehaving” while they’re busy on their cell phones. When I informed the teacher that per DSS regulations, keeping children that are awake in a crib was unacceptable, I was told by a teacher, Keyoshia Green, that “that had nothing to do with her and to take that up with the director” who also offered no explanation other than that she was new. They are rude and unprofessional. This facility needs to be shut down.
This Center is GREAT! The employees here really care about the children and the parents. The managers know each child and parent by name and greets them each morning and afternoon. My child (3yr old) loves his teacher and brings home lessons each day. His teacher assisted my child in potty training when we were having trouble. Children's World is a Great Child Care Center!
