About the Provider

The mission of St. Alban's Child Enrichment Center is to provide courteous, convenient, comprehensive and quality services for children and families. St. Alban's was incorporated in 1949 as St. Alban's Day Nursery by concerned members of the Coconut Grove community to provide childcare to pre-school aged children of working mothers. Since its inception, St. Alban's has evolved from being a daycare to becoming a Head Start delegate agency Program of Excellence and early childhood enrichment learning center. During the 2006/2007 school year, St. Alban's provided wrap around services (education, health, nutrition, disability and social services) to over 300 families in Miami Dade County at three locations and through 10 Family Day Care Homes (FDCHs). St. Alban's expects to serve 250 families during the 2007/2008 school year.
