We are almost in the fifth month of the year 2017 & my son has came home with lice twice. The caregivers at the school only pick and choose which kids hair to look at. They also don't wipe my child's butt enough & always comes home complaining that his butt hurts.
I've had a horrible daycare experience and took my son out of his old daycare immediately. A friend of mine's children attend here and recommended that I try it out. We've been here since April of 2016 and I love it. My son is learning Spanish and his teachers are sweet and amazing. He's always clean and happy when I pick him up. That was important to me bc at his old school he was always dirty and had scrapes all over him. You can tell my son is learning a lot because he is speaking more words and he knows his ABCs. Not fully but we are getting there. Lol. He will be 2 next month Btw. The only complaint I have is that the teachers who open up the doors in the morning are NEVER on time. This is important to me because my mom often takes my son there and she works at 7. The daycare says they open at 6:45. They do not. My mother is always late to work because they come in closer to 7:00 and sometimes even after. Other than that I have had no issue with this school.
If I could give "0 stars" I would. This place is every parents nightmare. About 18 years ago my little brother went there. My mom went to go pick him up and while she was signing him out she hear faint cries. As a mom she reconized the cries as my brother. She found him in a storage closet in a high chair with no lights on. He had dried snot and tears all over his face so clearly he was there for awhile. Aparently the teacher put him in there for time-out and forgot about him. DCF was called and the teacher was fired but our family still thinks not enough was done. They should NOT be in business and no child should ever go though what my brother did. A few years back we drove by the school and he said "Omg I've had nightmares about that place" (before he knew what happened to him). So clearly it affected him. It makes me sick..
I had my son enrolled at For Kids Only for almost a year. I got hired back in August 2010. While taking my classes, and working in this facility, the owner was/is out of compliance on so many things. All they serve for lunch is peanut butter and jelly with cheetos. And makes kool-aid on a daily basis. None of the toys/shelves are anchored down like they are SUPPOSE to be. I was always out of ratio with the kids. 1:6 in the one year old room, and I was often left by myself with 12 toddlers. My son is 1 1/2 and the owner put him in the baby room because I worked in the toddler room. She wouldn't move me so my son can be with the children his own age. I would not recommend this facility to ANYONE. The owner is very unprofessional, I often felt like a hypocrite. Because after taking my childcare classes that are required. The owner would often have me do things that was out of compliance. Examples: leaving the children unattended in the room, using cleaning chemicals while the kids are still in the room, leaving the kids strapped in the tables for the majority of the day, because I was by myself and couldn't watch them by myself.
