Not even worth 1 star since sale of business earlier this year. We have been going to this preschool since 2009 and we are thrilled to now be leaving. Former owner was wonderful. New owner is driving it right into the ground. It's obvious that the employees are miserable too, as of late. My son is still treated well by his teacher, but the overall business quality and communication with the administration is despicable. She is changing everything that was wonderful about the facility. By observation, the student count looks to be half what it was. Previously I would recommend this facility with a warm heart. No longer. The new owner is a micro-manager. She wants to dictate every move everyone makes, staff and families alike. She is posting signs everywhere, using CAP LOCKS and !!!!!!! along with highlighting so you are sure to see exactly what she is trying to say. She won't let us use the refrigerators any longer to store my son's lunch box, she has put into effect that we are now responsible for supplying a fitted crib sheet to cover the nap mats and we are responsible for taking them home to wash on Fridays, not a big deal, I'm with you, but, these are the little things that made GB so comfortable, we actually felt like we and our son were being taken care of. I have donated all of my fitted crib sheets to the facility since my son moved to a bed over a year ago (along with all the toys he's outgrown), so I'm sure she has a great supply of them. She is telling us that we must only provide water in our son's sippy cup, again sounds simple, that is what we put in his cup anyway, but who is she to TELL us what we can give our child to drink? I could go on and on about the changes she's making, but I'll stop here. Think twice about going to this facility, it was once amazing, and now, little by little, she is making it unpleasant. If you would like more details, please don't hesitate to contact me.
