Plan: Ms. Rider stated she understands that neither of the teachers involved in the complaint may be alone with children or work together in the same room. Ms. Rider explained a different teacher was supposed to be in the classroom with the teacher who is not supposed to be alone but she did not make it clear to the teacher who was supposed to be in the room with the teacher who is part of the complaint. Because of this, both of the teachers in the complaint ended up being in the same room together. Ms. Rider had a different teacher go in the classroom with the teachers who are involved in the complaint. In the future, Ms. Rider is going to clearly communicate with the staff who is supposed to be in the classroom and that they are not to leave either teacher involved in the complaint alone or alone together in a classroom. Ms. Rider had the correct teacher go in the classroom while licensing was completing visit.

To prevent this from happening in the future, Ms. Rider stated they will have Jack document the date of the drills before the drills are completed. Once drills are completed, Crystal Rider or Stephanie Leak will check the drills form to ensure the drills have been documented.

To prevent this from happening in the future, teachers will check their classrooms on a monthly basis to ensure all required postings are in each classroom. Teachers will be responsible for reporting missing postings in their classroom.

The following classrooms did not have these requested postings: Extended Care Room #1: lesson plans were from the week of 6/25/18-6/29/18. Extended Care Room #2: location or first aid kits, emergency supply kits, and fire extinguisher, daily classroom schedule, and lesson plans were from the week of June 11th. Infant classroom: program information and weekly lesson plans were from June 2018.
