Discussed de-escalating strategies and what to do when stressed or overwhelmed. Discussed communication with management so that behavior plans can be implemented as necessary for the child. Additional staff trainings will be implemented. An internal review of procedures and policies are being reviewed and revised. Program will review with staff appropriate and inappropriate discipline. Program is implementing injury and behavior logs to track patterns. The long term goal is for the program to replace the surveillance system and upgrade to one that is simpler to navigate. Management is also going to start reviewing footage weekly to look for any signs of distress. |
