About the Provider

Jefferson is an exciting school that focuses on skill development to educate the whole child. There are many structures and programs in place to ensure that Jefferson students get ample opportunities to engage in challenging learning activities that focus on helping students develop and become independent thinkers and problem solvers. Jefferson students learn how to work independently, in partnerships and in collaborative, small groups. Character education is integrated into the daily program for students to learn how to make good choices as they engage in their daily activities. There are school values that define the school and the characteristics a good student should possess. These values or Pillars of Character are introduced monthly by different classes in creative ways to encourage students to get “spotted” practicing one of these character traits. body that creates a small, community feel. At Jefferson we collaborate to work together as a community.
