Violation Observed: Ensure that time frames for each activity are both age and developmentally appropriate for the children served. Children, ages 18-30 months, were sitting and waiting for their diaper changes and lunch to be served for over 45 minutes without any activities provided in Room 1.

The use of infant equipment including swings, exersaucers, and bouncers shall be limited to periods of 30 minutes at a time.

Violation Observed: Ensure that the use of infant equipment, including swings, exersaucers and bouncers, is limited to 30 minutes at a times.7/31/23: Three infants below 12 months old were observed confined to the bouncers for over 30 minutes at a time. Additionally, staff did not remove the children from the bouncers when the infants were sitting up and trying to climb out.

Violation Observed: Ensure that the staff utilize positive methods of guidance at all times throughout the center. Staff from Room 1 were observed lifting the infants and toddlers by 1 arm to move them around the play area and up the stairs when entering the building.
