Our Philosophy...To provide children with a caring, safe, and secure environment
that utilizes a child centered curriculum. This curriculum is based on the emotional, physical, social, and cognitive needs of the individual child.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

The owner Cynthia provides excellent care. My kids were with her from birth to after school and I couldn’t have asked for better care! She plans activities for them that help them grow and learn. I expected nothing less then for them to come home with dirt on their clothes each day because being hands on and playing is what they did. My children had the best time each and every day. If there were ever any concerns they would communicate with me. Their facility is always clean (obliviously it has to be for state inspections) and I was always welcomed with a smile. I highly recommend this daycare! You will be provided with care and love you hope for any child.
I did not know this even existed as a childcare provider I feel like I need to add my own review in response to these 2 really horrible reviews the review posted by Josh was a upset husband of an employee the post from Robin after rereading her post over and over I want to address it, This child did attend our facility we loved this child and welcomed him everyday with loving arms. The doors were shut when covid19 came around for the safety of our children and staff we have reopened our doors since the scare of Covid is not as high BUT we will follow all CDC guidelines and if we need to close them again due to illness, Covid or anything to keep our babies safe we will! Our meal schedule is and has always been advertised and available at all times for parents, the State as well as our Food Program provider who monitors our meals VERY closely. We serve Mac and Cheese seasonally it is not something we serve all year our food program Childcare Network receives our monthly menu each month and does very close monitoring's anyone is more than welcome to call them and ask about our menus and our monitoring ratings. Our facility is extremely clean let me be petty for a minute, for someone who was never allowed in the facility I am curious how she would know that information ok I am done being petty! if you come into the facility during hours we are working, kids are learning through play and things are gonna be a mess however at the end of each day we clean up put everything back in its place and get ready for a new day of learning and YES we do get dirty we paint, we play outside, we color we learn how to use markers and crayons, scissors all the good daycare learning stuff we learn how to eat and drink out of big cups it is what we do. While the kids are here this is there work! This is where they learn! we do clean them up before they go home and if we outside when you pick up WELL they may be dirty and we wiped the faces and send them home. Let me address the spelling issue we do have a teacher who is not from this country she is a sweet loving lady and sometimes she makes mistakes ( because she is a human and we humans make mistakes ) I am sad that as this gma knows that and would still make a post about it. At the end of the day she has a right to her thoughts, however I would like them to be truthful
All four of my daughters have attended this facility from birth through pre-k. We loved how family oriented they are and how each and every child there is treated like family. The facility provides the children with healthy meal options that are approved by a federal accredited program called the CACFP. Prior to Covid parents were always welcomed into the facility and classrooms. However that is not the case since Covid and I am extremely okay with that. The health of my children is more important than being able to enter a building! With that said there is a menu always hanging at the front door as well as all the parent info. I love how each week of the month the meals are different each day of the week. And how every month and season it changes to match the weather and add variety. My daughters have been introduced to so many new foods here. Last summer my daughter grew veggies there and then they cooked them and tried them. My child always comes home happy and excited to tell me about her day at school heck most days she crys when she has to leave. The facility will tell you when enrolling not to send your child in good clothes bc they love to get dirty. Yes they do!!!! And I’m okay with that I love knowing that my baby worked hard at school and had a great time even if that means she comes home messy…. They are kids!!!! By the way im the mom that makes mud pies with her kids we may wash hands after but im not changing them 59 times a day. Most afternoon they play outside at pickup which means messy faces and hands. No worries this smart momma has hand wipes in the car to wipe them down when we get in the car. I realize they can’t take ever child inside when a parent arrives at pickup to clean them up. The center is small which is great bc it means less kids on a classroom yea there is a bunch of stuff they are required to have in each classroom but as far as the facility being clean it’s AMAZING!!!! It always smells so fresh. My daughter is immune compromised and the owner went above and beyond to ensure that every service was sanitized and cleaned as well as ensuring that sick children stay home to protect the other children. Let’s talk about potty training….OMG for the parents that are actually working on it at home and ain’t trying to have them being babies forever and are ready to stop changing diaper it’s me I’m that parent they are great with getting your kid on the potty and out of diapers in no time!!!!! Of course it takes doing it at home and school to work but they definitely have it goin on over there with that. I cannot say enough about this facility and now my sweet granddaughter will soon be attending!!!!! We cannot wait!!!
I have been dealing with this daycare for 11 years now. My 10 year old went when she was a baby and she absolutely loved the daycare. 7 years later my husband and I had another baby and I wouldn’t have chose any other daycare but small hands big future. I like honesty and Mrs.Cindy gives that to me. I also enjoy the family like environment. None of the children are treated differently. They helped me potty train my 3 year old completely also my 9 month attends and she loves going to daycare everyday. They walk in with smiles and also leave with smiles. Also every day I ask my 3 year old what does she eat. Mrs. Cindy provides fruits in the morning with a healthy breakfast and also provides lunch and snacks everyday. I wouldn’t choose any other daycare in Sanford nc. This is where my child feels safe everyday and happy.
Horrible place with horrible people. Do not send your kid here, this is a horrible environment for children. It's just a small house that is cluttered and not clean what so ever.
