Staff stated the following: "The principal was supervising the signatures at the sign out cart and releasing children to parents. An instructional coach was supervising children inside the gate until their parent arrived. The principal was ultimately who was in charge of the child during the incident." *The principal was in charge and left alone with the children as other staff were attending to the children that ran out of line.
