Description: Welcome to Redeemer Children’s Center & Preschool! Redeemer Children’s Center, also known as “The Preschool”, opened its doors to children and families of the church and community in August 1987. Originally housed in two classrooms of the church, the center started with three teachers and a handful of preschool children. The program relocated to its present location in late 1996 when the Family Life Center was completed. Our center is a non-profit subsidiary of The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Its purpose is to provide, in addition to child care services on a regular basis, an atmosphere in which children learn social and academic skills in a Christian learning environment in order to be successful in school. The center is operated as a Christian ministry to members of the congregation and to the community at large and serves as a mission of the Church. We strive to maintain the standards set forth by the SC Department of Social Services, the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, the State Fire Marshal, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Redeemer Children’s Center and Preschool is well-respected in the community as a provider of quality care with a strong early childhood curriculum. We are most grateful to The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer for its vision years ago and its continued support of such a successful outreach ministry.
