I honestly don’t know where to start with this place. My son has been going almost 9 months and it’s been a roller coaster. The communication is disrespectful and condescending every time. It’s almost like they don’t know it’s your child or respect the fact we are the parents and paying them to take care of our child/children. When we first started going there the staff was nice and ran up on some alarming diapers on too long with whelps on my sons bottom that look almost like a mosquito attached him. I notified them and it happen once again and notified them. Then they handed my husband the WRONG BABY and would ask us which one was ours! Super unsafe!! Then one of the ladies offered babysitting on the side to parents and we took her up on it once. A couple days later she ask me and another mom she babysat for money to pay her light bill. Which I was scared if we didn’t give it to her our son would be less treated. They eventually realized she was over her head and had no clue about baby’s and move her to older kids. They move another lady over who organized it up some but she started having health issues and it just started going downhill again. Let alone she’s way too old to be working and lifting babies. I spoke to her about ways to help him nap better and her reaction was so unprofessional and was full of nonsense which seemed from over worked and short staffed. She had the nerve tell me while talking to her calmly to find someone else. Prior even told me if she’s not there working to run from the place. The director was there in the background feeding a baby and seemed so out of it. Why is a director having to help… because she can’t handle it due to surgeries and health. How can she do this job in general?! Different people randomly filling in on days. Let alone most of them shouldn’t even be in child care with how they handle it. They’re so out of touch with when they had children 30 years ago they think they know everything. This place is a sucker for first time moms and always have availability. No decent daycare has openings right away they all are a year plus waitlist. For the facility it’s outdated and so dirty. My son would come home smelling gross and cloths looking like he played outside. The carpet is hunter green and looks like it’s from 1990 and never replaced. The space alone is way too small. They put this rough mat you can’t wash down for the infants to rub they’re face on which is why my baby’s face always was broken out and on weekends would clear up from not being there. We lost cloths and bibs when we labeled everything of his. We would get other baby’s cloths, bottles, bibs and even medicine and they all had labels so not sure how that happened. If you look the place up they don’t even have abc rating and there dss yearly reports are always high alerts. They don’t have any great reviews. The parking lot always has 2 spaces only available to pick your child up as it’s so small and the staff take each spot. It’s off a really busy highway (Savannah hwy) where you come in hot and their playground for the kids is in the middle of the parking lot where they would walk (very slowly) the kids in a line at prim time hours with parents picking up there kids. So dangerous! As a mother please do your research and choose better for your child ????????
the revolving door of staff leads me to believe that reevaluating policies, procedures and open communication with teachers/staff IS A MUST. I cant imagine working there. I find myself getting disappointed and frustrated just dropping my child off. The woman that used to run it- she knew exactly where/when and what in every topic. The only reason after a few SERIOUS issues and lack of communication with parents is far from professional.
our child has been there, the LEGITIMATE ONLY CONSTANT AND SOLE REASON OUR CHILD IS STILL THERE IS BECAUSE OF CYNTHIA AND SOPHIA. Not the random owner pushing her Montessori school that just opened.Get this house In order first and foremost. We as parents put our trust in you to take care of our children. In a clean facility, following through on course work, potty training etcetc.not the revolving
doors of teachers. not the cockroaches that most certainly should have been brought to our attention to before the end of the day and not exposing or allowing kids who are CLEARLY sick to be in class. they have a lot if potential yo be a good school for the size but they need to clean up and tighten up and remember why and what they wanted Smart Cookies to really be
