About the Provider

The Rec Kids Afterschool Program is committed to providing children with a safe environment where they are given an opportunity to express themselves and develop socially, physically, artistically, and creatively through a program that nurtures and respects the uniqueness of each and every child. Rec Kids Philosophy: At Rec Kids we believe that all children need a safe place where they can interact with their friends after school. We offer a variety of activities which includes recreation and games, arts and crafts, reading, enrichment, time to work on homework, and free time for the children to pursue their own interests in a respectful, friendly environment. We allow children many opportunities to learn experientially and focus on subjects that engage and interest them, therefore allowing for meaningful learning. We also encourage as much parental involvement as possible because we realize that the link between the school setting and home is vitally important in fostering a sense of community.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
