I am so saddened to write this review. We have been with Karen since our oldest daughter was 9 months (she is now 4) and our youngest daughter since she was 6 weeks (she is now 2.) We have had nothing but wonderful, loving care up until a week ago. There is a child at her facility at this time who has been a constant biter. Nothing is being done about this. My child would come home with teeth marks and bruises from bites that would last as long as 5 days (current one if finally going away from last week. She has been being bit for over a year.)My daughter finally hit the child who was biting her and she is the one who got in trouble. Karen's specific words were "If you don't want to be here, I wouldn't be upset if you left." She will not do anything about the child being bit due to "she has gone through a lot in the past few months." When I decided to leave (without 2 weeks notice) because I am not bringing my child to a place where she has the possibility of being harmed. I was disrespected and screamed at, saying that I will not get my deposit back because we did not give two weeks notice. I asked to pick up my child's belongings and she left them on the front porch in a garbage bag labeled with her name and good luck crossed off and good bye written instead. This is unprofessional and this review will be on every webpage possible. It is so sad to see what I thought was a great professional relationship treated so unprofessionally.
