Great teachers make great schools. Teachers build the foundation to effective student learning. Primrose could use a lesson in effective leadership. To keep great teachers you must... Treat employees like they matter, show them respect, take pride in the way you treat employees so that they take pride in working for your school. When you speak to them, speak in ways you would want someone to speak to you. Senority doesn't replace respect. Do not pick favorite employees because there is NO HONOR in that. If you are a 5 star school, ALWAYS REMEMBER, the teachers you employ help you to get every star...treat them like 5 star employees. Most of all, don't let your good teachers get away because you don't know how to treat them. When you let a great teacher get away, no matter who you employee after him/her, they can never be replaced.
