Description:
WE ARE A YEAR ROUND FACILITY OFFERING AN EXCITING SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM AND AFTER SCHOOL PICK UP AND CARE DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
SUMMER CAMP:
We Are the ONLY Area Martial Arts After School Program and Summer Camp LICENSED AS a CHILDCARE CENTER By the State of Texas! This means your child is in the custody of staff members that are fully background checked, first aid and CPR trained and educated on proper supervision of children. Our Summer Day Camp will focus this year on “Cultures of the World”. Japan, Africa, United States, Italy and Australia are some of the countries and cultures that your child will learn about in camp.
Each day your child will enjoy physical activities specifically designed to promote strength, stamina, balance, poise and self confidence.
We work hard with students to try to establish the foundation for a lifetime of fitness, strong principals for living and the importance of building their bodies with natural, nutritious foods; this is the basis of our “Whole Life Preparation Program”.
Each week we provide new and exciting workshops to provide all students age appropriate information and training on the importance of situational awareness and how to recognize and respond to bullies, predators and potential dangers in our daily lives.
AFTER SCHOOL:
Our fully insured staff will pick up your child from school and bring them to our fully licensed Texas Health and Human Services and “Code Adam” approved facility located at 3 Points Plaza behind the “Big Blue Ice Cream Cone”.
If you are looking for a babysitter, we probably aren’t the right choice. Our staff does WAY more than just watch your child. As a COBRA Self Defense Training Academy our Certified Instructors have been trained and our facility “Hardened” to make every effort to protect against the kinds of horrors we have seen in Schools, Churches and public gatherings.
As part of our After School Student body your child will be trained BEYOND kicking, punching and gymnastic style moves. The C.O.B.R.A. Child Abduction Prevention (C.A.P.) program was developed by a former police officer and designed to provide child appropriate information on how to respond to abduction attempts, physical attack and bullies.
In addition we have looked at our facility in the same light we view our “Corporate Security” surveys and implemented additional safety measures such as PERSONAL PIN check-in and check-out, key code access for parents and certified Martial Arts ADULT staff teaching classes.
Our director, Ken Morgan, has worked with children for over 40 years. Not only is he a licensed Director he actively works in the school to ensure a quality learning, social, societal and martial arts experience.
