Over the Rainbow Learning Center I

Aligned with Rhode Island Early Childhood State Standards, all classes are grouped by age and are designed to be developmentally appropriate and stimulating for your child. We promote and encourage problem solving skills through hands on activities and learning experiences,that encourage children to explore and ask questions. Our curriculum combines teacher directed and child directed lessons and activities. Your preschooler is preparing for a life long journey of learning, and needs a strong foundation. Our lesson plans are based on teaching through "literature based thematic units." Each unit covers a period of 4-5 weeks, and includes concepts from: literacy, language, math, science, creativity (art, music, and drama), social studies, and physical development (gross motor, fine motor, health.) We are also, one of the few early learning centers to incorporate Spanish into our curriculum - something you would normally find at an exclusive school.
