Montessori Community School of RI has moved! We are now in our brand new beautiful Stanwood Street school house. The space is filled with children exploring and growing! At MCS RI, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child and family, and create an environment where learning happens joyfully and naturally. We are committed to making our school the first Montessori school in Providence that serves all children regardless of their family's financial status.

Currently, MCS RI houses a Toddler classroom, a Primary (3-6) classroom, an outdoor classroom and play area, and community spaces inside and out! The design of the new school building has beauty, comfort, and community at it's heart. While we are very proud of our website, the only way to truly learn about, feel, and appreciate the exceptional opportunities available at MCS RI ---is to visit the school. We look forward to meeting you soon. Please contact us to learn more.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
