Description: We provide a warm and loving space that supports the exploration and learning of young children. We are a Social Constructivist community that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education and create an environment where peace is promoted and invitations to learn and grow are provided through observation and listening, interaction, and active participation. With a program based upon mutual respect for each other, oneself, materials, the space, and those around them, as well as the knowledge and understanding of the child as a competent being, parents will be equipped with the knowledge and comfort that their children will be learning through exploration in a hands-on environment that is tailored to the children’s specific interests and inquisitions. We believe in educating and supporting the learning and exploration of the ‘whole child’ by providing an enriching and stimulating environment across all areas of development. We create an environment for children that is both loving and comforting and supports their exploration of these young scientists by building a space and curriculum that is based on their interests. We value and practice equality, respect, and eco-conscious living through avenues such as building relationships, interaction with our environment both inside and out, roles within our community, exploration through different mediums, and the development of character.
