About the Provider

Our Avon Center is in the Riverdale Farms Shopping center, Rt. 10 on the Avon/Simsbury border. It was here that we started in 1986 in the building that currently houses our 2 year olds. In 1995 we expanded to the entire first floor of the adjacent building where our preschool programs are currently. In 2001 we took over "The Barn", a HUGE building we use for school age programs and summer camp. We expanded again in 2013 and moved our infants and one year olds into a state of the art facility that was previously occupied by the Little Gym. In addition we completely remodeled our original building, expanding the classrooms for our 2 year olds, adding indoor playgrounds and staff resource areas as well.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
