About the Provider

The educational philosophy of The Children's Center is opposed to pressure on children for early academic achievement. We believe the function of a preschool is to provide richness of informal play experience. The foundation for later learning is built by learning to communicate with others and discovering oneself as a person. The environment at The Children's Center is designed to stimulate and encourage a child's natural development, and to promote sociability, physical coordination, creativity, and intellectual curiosity. Children are encouraged to participate in all phases in the program, but are given freedom to explore individual choices.
