Description: "My Place" Child Care and School Age Center's focus is on the "whole child". The learning center is designed to nurture the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of each child through a combination of child-initiated, teacher-directed activities. The program is flexible and informal, as the children are left free to explore, discover and create acceptable limits. It is also varied in nature in the hope that the children may discover themselves first as individuals, than relate to others in group. Our dedicted, professional staff believes play is the greatest avenue for learning in the early years. Play is a child's work and their toys are their tools. In playing together, children share ideas and experiences.
