Description: Through our school-based programs,students develop life skills in relating well to others, standing up to bias, and thinking critically about the big issues of the day. Teachers get tools for promoting social and emotional learning and building community in their classrooms. And school leaders get support to help them make their school a model for social and emotional learning.

Brief Description: Every person in the position of director, teacher, or volunteer with the potential for regular and substantial contact with children at the time this regulation becomes effective must complete the Office-approved training by September 30, 2017. Any teacher or director who does not complete this training by September 30, 2017 must not be left unsupervised with children in care until such time as the training has been completed. The person supervising the individual must have completed the Office-approved training that complies with the federal minimum health and safety pre-service training requirements. |

The program is run by high school kids and their administrator seems untrained. They don't know how to address problematic behaviors and are transparent with their selection process.
