See the code sheet for the start date of staff. Staff #1 was observed working in child care the file was missing a DHS FBI clearance. Staff #1 was not hired correctly per the CPSL. Staff #1 was hired using a DOE FBI clearance which is not acceptable for child care purposes. Correction Required: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). A staff person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL. Staff Person #1 may not work in a child care position with direct contact with children at the facility until the appropriate clearance is completed and on file at the facility. |
