Description: Little PAL's Preschool is a Temporary Child Care Center in EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP NJ, with a maximum capacity of 30 children. This child care center helps with children in the age range of 0 - 13 years. The provider also participates in a subsidized child care program.

Violation Observed: Based on information, per the Updated COVID-19 Standards – Child Care Centers, ensure all staff, children, and visitors, including but not limited to, parents, prospective clients, third party service providers are screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering the center and ensure that persons meeting the criteria for COVID-19 exclusions are not admitted to the facility.
Play equipment, materials, and furniture for indoor and outdoor use shall be of sturdy and safe construction, non-toxic, free of hazards, and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The center may not use play equipment intended for outdoor use indoors.

Violation Observed: Submit a copy of the center’s fire drill log documenting monthly fire drills during each session provided at the center and evacuate all children within 3 minutes.
As a condition of securing a license or Certificate of Life/Safety Approval, the sponsor or sponsor representative shall ensure that a Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) fingerprint background check is completed for himself or herself, and for all staff members at least 18 years of age who are or will be working at the center on a regularly- scheduled basis, to determine whether any such person has been convicted of a crime, as specified in P.L. 2000, c. 77 (N.J.S.A. 30:5B-6.10 to 6.17). The sponsor or sponsor representative and each staff member shall complete the electronic fingerprinting process through the vendor authorized by the State to conduct CHRI background checks through the Division of State Police in the Department of Law and Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

For early childhood programs the group teacher(s) shall be scheduled and have the authority and responsibility to work at the center for at least 75 percent of the center's daily operating hour or at least six hours a day, whichever is less.
Violation Observed: Submit to the OOL education/training experience for the group teacher.
Outdoor maintenance and sanitation requirements are as follows: the building, land, walkways, and outdoor play area shall be free from hazards to the health, safety or well-being of the children.

Outdoor maintenance and sanitation requirements are as follows: the center shall comply with the Playground Safety Subcode of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, as specified in N.J.A.C. 5:23-11. centers that take children to a community playground shall ensure that the playground surfacing and all other elements comply with the Playground Safety Subcode before being used by the children.
Violation Observed: Provide adequate surfacing in the use zones of each swing set in the outdoor play area.
