The only interaction I have had with this business was with the director when one of her patrons dangerously drove into their parking lot coming far too close to my children and me as we walked down the sidewalk in front of the building. I was obviously upset and went into their parking lot to speak with the elderly man and the staff about what just happened. Throughout the whole interaction, the director of Little Birds Learning Center showed zero concern for my family. She attempted to minimize my concerns and told my daughter she was "sorry your dad has an anger issue". I never swore and kept a fairly measured tone throughout whereas the old man who almost hit us with his Hummer swore multiple times and yelled directly in my face. The director understandably stated multiple times that she was concerned about the impact this interaction was having on the students in the building (which I acknowledged to her) and she also seemed more worried about the old man (presumably because his family is a paying customer). Instead of trying to deescalate things she closed by saying it was bad that "clearly all you care about are YOUR kids" and telling me she would call the police if I did not leave the property. As a father of two, there is no chance I would ever consider enrolling my children in such a place where there is a clear lack of leadership. If you are considering daycare/preschool options in this part of town, I strongly urge you to consider more options than this place. The choice is yours, but I feel it is imperative that I share my experience on this site.
