This center went downhill after adding back an infant room. The amount of students per adult doubled. My son wasn't getting more than 8-10 ounces of fluid in 8 hours, was not allowed to have a water bottle out during the day, wasn't being offered food between 9:00am and 12:00pm, wasn't allowed on the swings, was often in the same cold weather outfit he was dropped off in despite having multiple other warmer weather clothing items packed and the temp being in the 80s and sunny when I'd pick him up. He was having trouble adjusting to the new classroom/routine in September and the center responded by telling me if he was not there by 8:30 he couldn't attend. He had been attending for a full year before they applied that rule. He often needs 30 days or so to get into a new routine. It's more about how understaffed they are though. They're too overwhelmed to handle accommodating a late student. My son's classroom was affected the most since he had a first year teacher who had just begun obtaining her degree and was a bit inexperienced to take on 7 kiddos, 2 autistic and 4 still in diapers (changing area located down the hall)
Stay clear of this center until they get they act together. It's so sad how quick they went downhill.
