This is the wose place to send your kids and the worst place to work they have no communication skills the directors are a joke they dont know how to talk to there employees there is never anyone in the office and the staff and management are always on there phones they have left kids outside and in the gym I only gave 1 star because I had to put something but ig it was up yo me I wouldn't give them anything
Cassie (director) and Myrna (assistant director) are great. First impression is the large, clean facility and the new addition to this facility. If you drive around Oklahoma City and other areas, you will quickly see this facility is amazing. (Many of the other store fronts or converted business centers in these areas look ghetto, dark, like boarded up/barred convenience stores in bad areas of town.) This church daycare has a sharp facility and they are constantly updating the rooms and playgrounds. They have large shade trees on the playground along with covered awnings. They also have a full-size indoor gym with a complete indoor playground that guarantees great play space in any weather, hot or cold.
Like any daycare facilities, especially when there is low unemployment in the country/state, obtaining great daycare staff is a challenge. If they pay top dollar for daycare workers, then they have to charge top dollar for daycare services. Most parents want all "Master Teachers" but they don't want to pay for premium childcare. This facility has more than the minimum required "Master Teachers" which means there are NOT a lot of teens. They do employ college students who are working on their children's education degrees from both Christian Colleges and public colleges in the area. During the summer time I have noticed a few more younger teens, but they are only support workers for field trips and other group activities.
My husband and I love the fact that they have a chapel service every week, we receive daily sheets informing us of our children's activities. They've even been very helpful potty-training my children.
We have enjoyed the food/lunches that they provide for special holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. They even host special family night events with lots of food and bounce houses throughout the year.
As you can see on their DHS inspections, they have no "non-compliances" for many months. Having the ability to serve hundreds of kids and seldom have any write-ups is amazing.
Our family has been with this childcare facility for a long time. Yes, we've director/staff changes, but the core employees are consistent and good. I have noticed that when a disgruntled employee is released or a child is released from attending the daycare for behavorial problems (which often is a parental issue - parents still have to train their children the other 16 hours a day their children are not in childcare) - then the disgruntled employee or parent usually calls DHS to file a complaint. As you can see from this report, even tho they complain (trying to get the facility in trouble), DHS continues to report no "non-compliance" issues.
In any "free market" if a place was as bad as a few "disgruntled people" say they are, the facility would have been out of business a long time ago. So don't let "sour grape" people spoil your view of this facility. Find out why hundreds of parents/children are completely happy with this facility in spite of a few negative people/reports.
Ok listen when I say I have never written a bad review for a daycare, but this was just too much to the point where if I didn't say something about Kids of Faith Place then I feel like this will keep happening to other children at this daycare. I put my son in this daycare because I had a friend tell me her child attended here however she ended pulling her child out after what had happened to both of ours. This daycare has a bunch of children working at it, even the adults that work that there do not act like adults. My child was supposed to be in the infant room and they moved him up waaaaaaay too early, after I told the director, I don't even care how to spell her name, Tereshea, THAT it is NOT okay to move up a 4 month old that soon, ON top of THAT, I caught the teacher soaking my child's bottle in bleach, IDK about you but I sure as hell know that cleaning a bottle with straight bleach is not okay for an infant bottle. It was like they did everything backwards, the director laughs about everything, she has no idea what she's doing, any time a question is asked, she has no clue and eventually I just had to leave. The other one good review on here, that person was lucky. Because I had nothing but bad experiences here, when I asked the teacher why she was soaking the bottle in bleach, she said "that's how we wash bottles sometimes, our boss has seen us do it and hasn't said anything." I was livid. Save your money seriously
I have to say, I am surprised by the older reviews. I have found this center to be great. My child is in the young two's class and has an amazing teacher. The building is always clean and inviting. The management is fantastic and helpful. Also this is one of the most affordable centers I have seen.
Both my toddlers go here. I'm kept aware of their daily activities and interactions with other children. They come home with new prayers and we rehash on learned activities such as alphabets and numbers to ensure I'm doing my part in their learning. I appreciate the attention and time the staff gives to both my children. The (new)directors and staff are professional, helpful and super polite.
If you care about your child, look elsewhere. There is no consistency when it comes to teachers and the turn over rate is horrible. There has been four directors there the two years my son attended. One director abused my child and did it right in front of me. They have no structure and tons of downtime. My son is four and does not know hardly anything to prepare him for school. I attended church at this daycare and it seems that they are just out for money. This daycare is only there to make money for the church. They dont care about the well being of your child. There are tons of teenagers there taking care of kids. They sit on there phones and ignore kids. I am not a disgruntal parent, just warning. Remember that I stuck it out for two years hoping it would get better and out of desperation changes my sons daycare 5 months before pre-k hoping he would catch up. His first day at a new daycare was terrible bc Kids of Faith Place let them run all over the place and play fight and wrestle. So this daycare has turned my kid into the bad kid in class at his new daycare. I hate this place.
This is the worst daycare in the state of oklahoma! Parents whatever you do... do NOT put your child in this daycare. The director is a JOKE! When I picked my son up from his very first day there he had another childs bottle in his mouth and a 16 year old girl watching 7 infants!!! (way over dhs ratio) when I told the director about it she laughed!!! So I contacted dhs and put my son in another center!! I ended up taking my son to the emergency room twice after that because he got a stomache virus!!!!
