I have created a chart for the front of staff binders with all the required paperwork and trainings that need done. I also have the dates written also to ensure they are done on time. When they start, I add the completion dates to my calendar to ensure they are completed on time. These trainings will also be completed during their training period, so once their training period is over they will have everything completed to be able to work a class independently. I will also make sure I have an extra staff member who is trained and certified to supervise someone who is not yet certified. Staff #3 will not be a caregiver until appropriate trainings are completed.
