Offering full-time and after school programs for ages 6 weeks up to 12 years old, Kid zoo is still operated by a former Charlotte-Mecklenburg school teacher and employees are considered through referrals only. Daily activities and lessons based on age are developed and continually reinvented to keep children engaged and entertained. Indoor facilities are outfitted with separate rooms for different age groups with varieties of activity stations and toys as well as a full kitchen where nutritious meals are prepared daily. Outdoor gated areas with turf grass and sun shelter are equipped with jungle gyms and toys that promote physical activity.
