Their champions program is awesome! They open early to help out working parents and stay late to do the same. The staff is very nice and welcoming, they help a lot and are very informative. My child loves it!
With that said,
The school itself struggles to operate pick up and drop off in a good manner. The parents in line are violent and threatening. The campus can’t house that many cars which leads me to believe they had their eyes on government funding and not infrastructure or safety. The line takes up city streets, intersections, and even highway entrances and business entrances. People in line speed and cut off people with kids present, yell and scream at each other in a threatening manner from their cars, and the staff “directing” traffic right next to the school has a lack of an idea of what they are doing. The schools operations coordinator did not care and talks with negative undertones. It seemed like too many people brought their concerns and she was annoyed by the inquiry on solvability. Safety is jot the number one concern here and it makes me think that may not relate well to best practices while parents are away. Just seems lazy.
The principal and teachers seem really awesome!
