Description: Nexus Child Development Center has opened its doors to the community. Built in 1999 with funding from the Crystal Charity Ball, the Center accepts children from birth to age twelve. Children participate in educational and therapeutic activities to enhance physical, cognitive, social and emotional learning. Older children attend a local elementary school and participate in after school programming provided by a certified teacher at the Center. Now childcare is available to any family in the community seeking a loving environment, quality care and education for its children.
The Center provides a holistic program that enhances growth and development through developmentally appropriate activities which promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional learning. We help children develop character and life skills, encourage resilience and positive interactions between parents and children, and all the while maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
Nexus Child Development Center is licensed by the state of Texas and is recognized by the ChildCareGroup as a Texas Rising Star Provider. The Center exceeds the state Minimum Standards and Guidelines and accepts CCMS or childcare assistance through the Childcare Group.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed.
