These had been kept in a safe place but when preparing for winter I set them there to put them in storage and forgot. They are now in storage not assessable to daycare children.

This glue gun was not plugged in, thus could not cause a burn. It has been stored in that drawer for over 13 years. I removed it from the drawer and removed it from the daycare as we have not used it in many years.

I thought I had the regulations sitting on my shelf where it was readily available to parents and inspector. But it was not there. I did have one hanging on the wall, but apparently it was outdated. The State inspector gave me an updated copy, which is now hanging on my wall.

I took the extension cord off and plugged the Christmas tree lights directly into the wall and put a plug protector into the empty socket. The one by the radio I pushed back behind the wall where no one can get to it. All of these extension cords will be gone after the first of the year when the Christmas decorations are taken down.
