WOW Olivia..you must really have it out for the place to give a review like that. I have been sending my now 5 year old daughter there for 4.5 years and have never experienced any of what you describe. And yes I am physically onsite everyday. I drop off in the morning and have never experienced the rudeness you describe. I pick up my daughter who talks about everyone and everything, but has never once described nonworking toilets, cold class rooms or anything. Infact we discuss what she eats for lunch daily! and it's always something prepared. Not to mention atleast 2-3 times a week I come in to the teacher walking down the steps with hot food in hand.
As far as the owner, there was no need to even mention you dont know her last name. Because if YOU were any kind of employee you would know. I as a parent know her name...so maybe you just didnt look into it.
My oldest daughter who is 10 attends the daycamp and has over the summer the last few years, and again she would tell me if any of what you describe went on. So I really think you are a bitter person, who maybe isn't happy with your job, OR maybe is not thrilled you no longer have a job to be posting this information on line.
I can tell you one thing, if I as a parent found out you have photo or video of MY CHILD without MY permission, we would have a HUGE problem.
I have excellent teachers who do care about my kids, who do provide a positive environment who do feed my kids. My kids are not cold, or else they'd have been sick all winter. I think you know very little of what you reviewed.
Delaware County daycare center "Just Bee U Childcare Center" located at 17 Chester Pike and 19 Chester (two buildings) runs an hazardous childcare center! The owner Jacqueline B. (I don't know her last name) and the new director Alycia Canada are aware that they are running an state violated childcare center! They are currently understaffed and employees are out of state ratio. When the state comes out to site this center they pay the state representative to not report citations/violations against them. Also when people call the state and make complaints the same woman who comes out to site this center informs the owner of the complaints that was made against the center and who left the complaints and that's against the law! They were served a water shut off notice, an electric shut off notice, the toilets in the building were not working for weeks and over flooding that the children used! The heat in the building at 19 Chester Pike Darby, PA 19023 was ALWAYS cut off and the hot water in the classroom bathrooms did not work! Also, currently the childcare center is filled with mice in the kitchen and mice feces, they are NOT certified with the Health department to serve food to the children, the toilet in the toddler room on your right hand side when you walk through the entrance of 17 Chester Pike Darby, PA 19023 is NOT working and is filled with feces! They use space heaters to heat up the classrooms which they use and station by the shelves where the radios are. They're very unprofessional, they're very understaffed, can be very nasty when these serious issues are pointed about by employees and concerned parents! I am an former employee who was told if I didn't like the way the center was ran that I could leave. I also will be attaching copies and video of conversations, pictures, etc of proof of this despicable childcare center!
