My grand daughter went to this day care for about 5months. And I must say the service was great. She had a wonderful time there, so sorry she had to leave because she migrated but she talks about the school every time, her teachers and her friends.
My daughter started at this center from September in the 3k program and I must say I am very please with the service I received. She is spelling her name and writing it the teacher she have is very friendly and pleasant she knowns how to teacher and my daughter is very anxious to go to school every day. I hope they have the prek program because I will surly let my daughter go back for it. I must say a big thank you for her teacher Ms. M. she is doing a wonderful job even during this pandemic.
My daughter attended Joyful Tots from 5 months old to 4 years old when we moved out of state. I had a great experience, the environment was warm and nurturing. The teachers were always pleasant and attentive. My daughter participated in many exciting hands on activities and always looked forward to going to school. We LOVED her school.
I had a horrible experience with this “day care”. My child was enrolled in the 3k program which is free, hours from 8am-2:20pm. I payed for early care weekly which is 7:30 am and after care which was from 2:20-6pm for a fee of $125 a week. I had absolutely no issue paying the fee but the director wanted me to pay when school was closed and for holidays which I feel is unfair as a parent. Why should I pay the school when it’s closed and I still have to pay for someone else to watch my toddler. And Remember I’m paying for AFTERCARE . Because I refused to pay the nasty rude director ms. king told me via email my child can not come back to after school. So I took her out the school entirely immediately. How can you tell me my child can’t come back to after school because I refuse to pay when school is closed for vacation and holidays. I called 311 and reported this and they told me she is wrong and shouldn’t be charging for the days school is closed. My child was always hungry when I got her and they never took the kids anywhere, no trips, museums, parks, library nothing not even a walk around the block. Don’t teach them anything except stupid nursery songs. No meetings with the parents nothing. I wouldn’t send my child here if I were you. There is plenty of other schools in Brooklyn. Also one day she went to school with poop on her shoe by mistake and they took her shoe off which is fine and tied it in a plastic bag and said they weren’t allowed to clean it. When her dad came to pick her up they handed him her with just socks on. Thank god we have a car what If we had to take public transportation how would she have gotten home. It wasn’t even that bad it was very easy to wipe off. I hope they shut this place down or get a better director who’s more knowledgeable about this work field....
