Noncompliance Area: During an initial inspection on 4/2/26 Cert rep observed liquid Lysol, cans of wall spackle and cans of wall paint in two unlocked Mechanical closets in the hallway between child care spaces and liquid plumber and ant killer in unlocked cabinet under the sink in the Small Back Room. These items were labeled "keep out of reach of children."

Correction Required: Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be kept in an area or container that is locked or made inaccessible to children.

Noncompliance Area: During an initial inspection on 4/2/26 Cert rep observed an accessible hot water heater with hot water pipes in an unlocked closet in the front bathroom of the Main Room. The water heater and pipes did not have protective guards or insulation that would prevent direct contact. The hot water heater had a warning label noting the device could be hot.

Correction Required: Hot water pipes and other sources of heat exceeding 110° F that are accessible to children shall be equipped with protective guards or shall be insulated to prevent direct contact.

Noncompliance Area: During an initial inspection on 4/2/26 Cert rep observed Hanging electrical, and other hanging cords(pulling hazard) and stacked tools and construction equipment where children could access them in an unlocked mechanical closet in the hallway.During an initial inspection on 4/2/26 Cert rep observed peeling paint on lower part of the long wall in the Small Back Room.

Correction Required: Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play space surfaces shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards. Peeled or damaged paint or damaged plaster is not permitted on indoor or outdoor surfaces in the child care facility.
