Clarence Farrington was a native of the Indianapolis area. He attended Marion County Schools at the turn of the century and devoted his entire life to the livestock industry. As a businessman and cattle broker, he served as a director of the Indianapolis Livestock Exchange and president of the National Livestock Exchange. Clarence Farrington was active in many civic and service organizations! He served as a member and president of the Indianapolis Public Schools Board of School Commissioners during the late 1940′s.
